Location

From street level it is 85 steps to the entrance of the independent apartment. There is a public garage, if you choose to bring a car, about 10 minutes away. The spaces may be reserved in advance and payment is made locally (about 20 euros per day). However, a car is not necessary as you are only 10-15 minutes from bars and restaurants, public transport, boutiques and beaches. The Positano internal commuter bus stop is located at the entrance to the villa; a short ride takes you to the top of the village where you can catch the blue SITA buses to Sorrento (1 hour) or Amalfi (1 hour). Alternatively you can take the hydrofoil from the port in Positano to Capri, Naples, Amalfi, Sorrento and Salerno.

From the street level there are 85 steps to the private entrance of the apartment. The terrace runs the length of the apartment and overlooks terraced lemon trees and the picturesque landscape of villas cascading down toward the sea. The entrance leads into a light-filled living room with dining table. Down the hallway are 2 double bedrooms; one with a double bed with en-suite bathroom with tub, and another with double bed which can separate into twins, with an adjacent bathroom with shower. All rooms lead out to the paved terrace with lemon trees, canopies of bougainvillea and wisteria providing shade. The kitchen is small but well equipped with a gas stove, oven, small fridge and compact dishwasher. ADSL wi-fi connection. Telephone for incoming calls; outgoing calls on payment. The in-town location and spectacular views, coupled with the charm and immaculate restoration of the interior put this property at the top of the list for one of Positano’s top-rated vacation rentals.
