Location

Overlooking the hills of Positano and the Mediterranean sea, the property is a 15-minute walk from the center of town. From the center of town, a further 10-minute walk through shops and boutiques takes you to the beach at Spiaggia Grande. There is a bus stop on the road below the property for the little commuter bus which will take you to the top of Positano, where you can catch a main SITA bus to Amalfi, Sorrento or Naples. During high season the commuter bus runs every 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a hydrofoil from the port in town for Capri, Amalfi, Ischia, Sorrento or Naples. Within few minutes walk of the house there is a variety of shops, bars, internationally known boutiques and various restaurants. If you choose to rent a car, there is a public garage about 20 meters from the main road below the apartment, prices are about 20 euros per day to park.

From the main road running through town, a stairway of 104 steps leads to the entrance of the apartment. All rooms in the house lead off a long beautifully tiled hallway. There is a galley kitchen (fridge, stove with 6 gas rings, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster) with doors to the terrace, a comfortable living room with double sofa-bed and doors to the terrace, and a double bedroom with doors to the terrace which is furnished with a sun parasol and table and chairs for eating. The double bedroom has an en-suite tiled shower room, and there is a second tiled bathroom with shower in the hallway. All the rooms have French doors with screens which lead onto the terrace. There is an iron and ironing board.

If you choose to reserve this property rental for your vacation in Italy you will have the option to book a Welcome Basket which will be delivered just prior to your arrival. No need to stress over finding the nearest market for bread & cheese, wine and water, snacks and drinks. Provisions include various and seasonal ingredients to get you through the weekend.
