Location

The villa is located near the charming hamlet of Vorno, a delightful gathering of rustic stone farmhouses and majestic villas. This is an ideal location from which to explore Tuscany as it is just 1 hour from Florence, 20 minutes from Pisa and 30 minutes from the beaches of Viareggio and Forte Dei Marmi. There is golf within a 30 minute drive and tennis locally. Two main highways are close by - the A11 for access to Florence, Rome, Bologna, Verona and Venice; and the A12 for access to Genoa, Livomo, Milan, the South of France and Monaco.

Property Details

The villa is set in a beautiful, floodlit park on the edge of a lush, wooded hill and surrounded by orchards and olive groves. To the front of the villa is a vast lawn and spacious flood-lit swimming pool (12m x 4m) and a Jacuzzi tub, surrounded by comfortable sun-lounge and umbrellas. On both sides of the building are original patios in Tuscan stone where wrought-iron tables and chairs with cream parasols provide an elegant setting for an al fresco lunch or early evening aperitif.

Villa on 3 floors
The house itself has recently been restored to the highest standards while retaining its traditional Tuscan character. Beautiful terracotta tiled floors and exposed beams adorn every room, and several of the downstairs living rooms have frescoed walls. As well as a large lounge and satellite television, the ground floor of the property boasts a formal dining room, fully equipped kitchen, two guest bathrooms and a beautiful internal conservatory where breakfast may be enjoyed. With en-suite facilities in every bedroom, Casa Quindici offers the best of modern comforts and convenience in an elegant yet rustic setting.

On the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen, formal dining room, lounges with fireplace and Satellite TV, conservatory, two ground-floor well-appointed bathrooms.

On the first floor are 5 double bedrooms (1 of which can be converted to twins) each with superb en-suite bath/shower facilities, fully heated and air conditioned and equipped with telephones, hairdryers, bathrobes and pool towels.

On the second floor are 2 further double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom, each with superb en-suite bath/shower facilities, fully heated and air conditioned and equipped with telephones, hairdryers, bathrobes and pool towels.

A guest cottage a few meters from the main house has a further 3 double bedrooms and 1 single, each with en-suite bathrooms. There is also a living room, dining area, and small kitchen.

On arrival you will be met by the property manager who will help you get settled and who will be available throughout your stay for assistance. For your convenience the kitchen is stocked with soft drinks and water, tea, coffee, sugar, a selection of cereals, milk, butter, cheeses, fruits and fresh bread.
