Beautiful Tuscany villa rental dating back to the 18th century which has been recently restored situated only 4 miles from the center of Florence.

Location

The villa is within a short walk of the village of La Lastra which has a bar, a small grocery store and a gas station. The historical center of Florence is 6 km, the old and enchanting town of Fiesole 5 km, Siena about 70 km. There is also a bus stop in the village where you can catch the bus #25 to Florence; if you come by car you can park in the street next to the villa. Thanks to its proximity to Florence, rich in events at any time of the year, the villa is suitable for winter rentals as well. Events such as weddings and celebrations can be accommodated and catered, please ask for details. There is air conditioning in all 5 of the bedrooms.

Property Details

The villa is set on the hills around Florence and offers extensive views over the Duomo and over the whole city. At guests' disposal is the large garden equipped for outdoor meals, a partially above-ground swimming pool (4m x 8m x 1.35m; open May - September, three panoramic terraces, one with wonderful views over Florence.

The house, surrounded by a large garden (about 6,500 sq ft), is well equipped and tastefully furnished with beautiful pieces and some antiques. There are 5 double bedrooms in the villa.

Ground floor: entrance, living room, covered terrace, living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen (oven, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker), guest bathroom (WC, and washing machine).

On the first floor is a double bedroom with king bed with large panoramic terrace (260 sq ft) with lovely views over Florence. This bedroom also has a sofa which can convert to a bed suitable for a child. There is a small twin bedroom, and another bedroom with French bed (for 1 person) as well as a single bed; these two bedrooms share a balcony. In the hallway is a bathroom with shower and tub. Finally on this floor is a double bedroom with king bed with en-suite bathroom with shower; there is a small kitchenette in this bedroom. On the second floor is the fifth bedroom with king bed and a bathroom with shower. On the top floor is a large panoramic balcony with deck chairs. There are screens on the windows and ceiling fans in the bedrooms and in the living room.

On request it is possible to arrange cooking classes in the owner's ancient residence located in the center of Florence (price to be agreed with the owner at the time a booking is confirmed).
