The property sits on a hilltop and is accessed by one of the many roads that wind through this countryside, with an enchanting view of the valleys and surrounding hills, covered in meadows, olive groves, vineyards and cypress. Nearby there is a large selection of restaurants including one of the most famous restaurants in Italy, Vissani, only 8 miles away (about 20 minutes). Of course also nearby are magnificent historic towns such as Orvieto, Assisi, Spoleto and Perugia. Property Details

The building is a typical stone-build farmhouse that dates back to the year 1600. It has recently undergone restoration work yet it maintains its original country house atmosphere, with terracotta floors and wooden-ceiling beams, and at the same time offers guests all modern comforts for a relaxing vacation. The farmhouse is part of a large property with an ancient castle from the year 1,000 which you can walk to from the villa. The interior and exteriors are spacious and pleasantly furnished with traditional Umbrian style furniture, with several shared areas for relaxing, reading and visiting. In the front of the property, overlooking the valley, there is a large pergola with a table that seats 10 and next to it is another covered loggia, also furnished for outdoor dining. This loggia is located along the side of the panoramic swimming pool (12m x 5m; open mid-May to mid-September) created where the "wash-house" once stood (the ancient laundry room). The property is entirely fenced-in and is therefore secure for small pets, which are allowed.

There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on the ground floor, and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the first floor (3 of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms). From the garden on the ground level you will enter directly into the large living room with dining table for 12, fireplace and TV, kitchen with dining area for 8, living room/study with fireplace and computer with Internet connection, 1 double bedroom with king-size bed and private bathroom with shower and access to the garden, 1 double bedroom with king-size bed and private bathroom with shower, 1 twin bedroom with access to the garden, 1 bathroom with bathtub. On the first floor, which can be accessed from either an internal or external stairway, is a living room with fireplace, 1 double bedroom with queen-size bed with private bathroom with bathtub, 1 twin bedroom and 1 bathroom with bathtub.
