This vineyard and farmhouse estate is 3.7 miles from Poggibonsi where you will find all kinds of shops, 8.6 miles from the charming hill town of Castellina in Chianti, 20 miles from Siena, and 30 miles south of Florence. From this strategic position half-way between Florence and Siena you will find most of the highlights and hill towns of Tuscany within a ½ hours’ drive.

Outside

From the main 2-lane road you will drive 1.2 miles along a dirt road to arrive at the property; as shown in the photos parts of this driveway have “hairpin” curves – commonplace in the Chianti countryside. Once arrived you will be enchanted by the grounds and view of this lovely Tuscany farmhouse rental. The area around the house is full of woods with oak trees, cypress trees and vineyards. Its position is exceptional and your gaze extends for miles over the greenery with enchanting and ancient towers, farm estates and parish churches. The large grassy lawn area and swimming pool (6m x 12m) is shared among guests of the 5 units belonging to this estate.

Entrance to the unit is through an exterior staircase; there is a little terrace, living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchenette (fridge, oven and dishwasher), 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (one with shower, one with bathtub), and one twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. On the second floor is another double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, one twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. There are 4 apartments on this estate, Pietro IV being the largest. Each apartment has a private and equipped outdoor area. There is a shared laundry room with washing machine which may be used by guests upon payment. Baby-beds are available on payment. Each unit has central heating.
