Situated just a few minutes from the Rialto bridge and its famous shops and open-air food and fish market, these apartments are an ideal departure point for pleasant walks among the fascinating little streets, bridges and squares of Venice, for excursions out into the lagoon, and for trips to the Veneto region on the mainland. Although being very conveniently located to all of Venice, the palazzo is away from any major flow of tourists, immersed as it is in the peace and tranquility of its garden and quiet residential neighborhood. And, just a few steps away are small, local shops for your fresh breakfast rolls, fruit, and groceries. The nearest vaporetto stop is San Stae from where you can take the line 1 waterbus to reach the rest of Venice. From the apartment it is about a 15 minute walk to the train station Santa Lucia, and about 15 minutes on foot to Piazza San Marco.

Outside

This elegant apartment occupies the whole second floor of the palazzo and is reached by a lovely staircase of Istrian stone. There is a lovely canal view from the master bedroom, and a view over the palazzo’s garden and clay tennis court from the windows in the living room.

The lovely décor features an exposed-beam ceiling with decorated tiles, flooring of Venetian terrazzo and parquet, and walls of marmorino in warm tones. The apartment is extremely functional, perfect for a romantic vacation for a couple, or for a family. Furnished with taste and refinement, enriched by antique furniture, the apartment provides a spacious living room with video door-phone, telephone, and satellite TV, and a well-equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and kettle). From the dining room there is an enviable view of the adjacent square. There is one master bedroom with a lovely view of a canal, twin beds (can be moved together to form a king) and en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The second smaller bedroom has twin beds, and a separate bathroom with shower located off the entrance hallway. There is also a laundry room with washing machine and ironing board. It is possible to arrange for a cook for dinners, personal food shopping service, housekeeping, cooking lessons and use of the private clay tennis court at additional cost. No children under 12 please.
