A food shop and a bar are about 200 meters away, the historical center of Florence 6 km, the old and enchanting town of Fiesole 5 km, Siena about 70 km. A bus stop with busses to the city center and to the railway station is only a few meters away from the villa. Thanks to its proximity to Florence, rich in events at any time of the year, the villa is suitable for winter rentals as well. On request it is possible to arrange cooking classes in the owner's ancient residence located in the centre of Florence (price to be agreed with the owner at the time a booking is confirmed).

Outside

The villa is set on the hills around Florence and offers extensive views over the Duomo and over the whole city. At guests' disposal is the large garden equipped for outdoor meals, a partially above-ground no-heated swimming-pool (4m x 8m x 1.35m; open January 14–December 16), three panoramic terraces, one with wonderful views over Florence.

Inside

The house, surrounded by a large garden (about 600 m2), is well equipped and tastefully furnished with beautiful pieces and some antiques. Ground floor: entrance, living-room (satellite TV), covered terrace, living-room with fireplace, dining-room, kitchen (oven, freezer, dishwasher, microwave), guest bathroom (WC, and washing machine). There are 5 double bedrooms in the villa. On the first floor is 1 double bedroom with large panoramic balcony (24 m2) and sofa which can convert to a bed suitable for a child; 1 twin-bedded room with balcony; 1 bedroom with French bed (suitable for 1 person) and a single bed and balcony; 1 bathroom with shower and bath, small kitchen (oven), 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower. On the second floor is another double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. On the third floor is a panoramic balcony.
