This is a very pleasant apartment rental in an 18th century villa near Fiesole, one of the most beautiful and prestigious neighborhoods above the city of Florence, in Tuscany Italy.

The villa is on a hillside, half way between Florence and Fiesole, in the hamlet of San Domenico. Just over 200 yards away is a public telephone and a bus stop which takes you into the center of Florence (20 minutes on the ATAF No.7). Less than 1 mile up the hill you can reach the charming town center of Fiesole with shops, restaurants and cafés. Also not to be missed in Fiesole are the ancient Roman theater, the monastery of San Francesco where you can enjoy dominant views over Florence and the countryside of Tuscany, and the cathedral with works by the famous sculptor, Mino da Fiesole.

Outside

There are panoramic views over the Florentine hills from the grounds of the property. The spacious garden is completely enclosed and there is a charming and equipped outdoor area for your use. There is a parking space for one car in the driveway.

On the ground floor is the living-room (TV) with access to the garden, elegant dining room which seats 6 comfortably, a scullery with cupboards and a washing machine, a kitchen (fridge/freezer, dishwasher) and a bathroom with a hip bath (half-bath). On the first floor is a double bedroom, two twin-bedded rooms one of which has a small balcony with lovely panoramic view of the countryside, and a bathroom with bathtub. The top floor and one wing of the villa are used by the owner.
